Colour Predictions for Fall 2018 Part 2

At the end of last week I started my segment on Pantone’s Fashion Colour Trend Report predictions for Fall 2018.  I touched on two beautiful colours: Red Pear and Valiant Poppy.  Today I will be sharing my finds for the next two predicted shades: Nebulas Blue and Ceylon Yellow.

Colour Predictions for Fall 2018

One of my very favourite posts from last year was the series I did on Pantone’s Fashion Colour Trend report for Fall.  If you missed it, you can read about it here.  Essentially, the Pantone Institute will predict their top 10 colours for fashion in the upcoming season, based on what is seen at New York Fashion Week. The Pantone Fashion Colour Trend Report is in my mind one of the best sources of inspiration for the upcoming season’s  colour trends.  Below are the gorgeous colours they have chosen for Fall 2018.

I actually love this particular palette of colours. I previously posted about my obsession of all things lavender, or in this case, Crocus Petal.  Red Pear and Quetzal Green are definitely colours that are going to be dominant in my Fall lineup. I love their richness.  I personally have a hard time wearing shades like Ceylon Yellow, Martini Olive and Russet Orange because of my skin tone, but I think they are still super fun and look forward to seeing them on others this season.  Ultra Violet was actually Pantone’s Colour of the year which I previously blogged about here.  Nebulas Blue and Limelight are both super pretty and I appreciate how vibrant they are!  Overall I think the Pantone Institute has chosen a lovely selection of colours!

I have collected some articles of clothing and accessories in all of these colours if you are wanting to introduce any of them into your existing wardrobe for this Fall!  I will be posting two of the colour trends per post throughout the next few weeks, so make sure you check back!

I will be back later in the week with my finds for the next two colours: Nebulas Blue and Ceylon Yellow.

Lovely in Lavender

I am going to pause my obsession of all things blush for just a moment to talk about another colour that I am completely crushing on right now.  I cannot get enough of lavender!  I feel like we are going to be seeing so much of this gorgeous colour everywhere! There are so many pretty sundresses, handbags are beautiful garments for Summer right now, but I am predicting that it is going to be huge for Fall and Winter as well. Think cozy oversized sweaters, suede boots and blanket scarves! (Not that I am wishing these sunny months away at all! I am first and foremost a sunshine lover.)

The Perfect Lace Midi Dress

I’m going to start out by saying that you need to have this dress in your wardrobe!  It has been one of my very favourites this Summer.  So perfect with heels for a friend’s recent wedding and I also dressed it down with flat sandals for a dinner out with the girls.  By pairing it with my leather bomber it is easy to transition into the cooler weather we will be soon be undoubtedly having.  I am a huge fan of lace and midi length so naturally I fell in love with it at first sight 🙂

This dress comes in six different colours and I want them all! I suppose that would be a little excessive though…. LOL!

The Cutest Striped Jumpsuits!

Happy Monday everyone 🙂  I posted this jumpsuit on my Instagram a few weeks ago and got so many messages about it! I bought it when we were in Maui a couple of months ago because I had tried to pack my suitcase super light and quickly bored with everything I had brought… LOL! Does this happen to anyone else? I loved the colours and the cut out and knot details.  It is super easy to wear and can be dressed down like I am in these pictures or easily dressed up with a pair of heels.

The Cutest Red Pants!

I think it is safe to say by now that I am a huge fan of colour!  I definitely went through a stage where I was trying to be a little more understated and a large portion of my closet was all black, but ultimately that just didn’t last. I can’t help but be drawn to bright, bold colours and super fun prints.  I had to stay true to myself and my own sense of style!  When I saw these pants I had to have them.  First and foremost, I am a dress lover. So I guess for me personally, if I am going to buy pants they aren’t going to be ordinary! I think these fall into the fun category… LOL

They are super easy to dress up or down.  I decided to wear them with a simple tank and heels.  I’m 5 foot 7 inches and they were long enough to wear with a 4 inch heel.  I would say they are true to size or if you are in between, then size down!

Palm leaf print was one of my favourite trends form last year and I am so happy to see that it is going to be super popular again this year! There is something so happy about these bold leaves… they always gives me that sunshine, vacation feeling 🙂

This dress was one of my favourites from last year and lucky for you it has been restocked for Spring!

The Prettiest Pastels!

I absolutely love Springtime in Vancouver!  It is also probably my favourite season for fashion.  The cherry blossom trees are starting to bloom and they make the streets around where we live look absolutely gorgeous.  Everything just looks so refreshed 🙂  I have been loving these clear and sunny days as of late.

There are so many gorgeous pastels out for Spring right now! I love the soft neutrals and all of the lace that I have been seeing. It takes a lot of self-control for me to not buy every beautiful floral dress or delicate skirt that I see.  I may have gone a little overboard collaging the items below, but I absolutely adore all of these colours!
