I have said it before, I am a sucker for a great floral print! I think this is probably why Spring is my favourite season. Not that I am floral exclusive in the Spring, but it is definitely a print that I am drawn to. I have even made my floral hating bff (I’m talking to you Amber… LOL) introduce a few subtle blooms into her wardrobe! I also adore lace, eyelet, polka dots, stripes, pastels… I guess I love it all! I have selected a bunch of gorgeous dresses if you are searching for a wardrobe update this Spring. As always, I have limited my selections to some of the more affordable ones 🙂
I apologize because I am way behind on sharing my Instagram outfits! I always link them though the LIKEtoKNOWit app, but for those of you without the app, her you go! You can click directly on the link below the photo for product details 🙂 Happy shopping friends!
Spring is in the air 🙂 Our temperature here in Vancouver has drastically improved this past week and I am SO excited for this season! I always love big and bold florals for Spring but there are a few other trends I am excited to try this year. I feel like animal print is still going to be everywhere, which I obviously LOVE and lace is always a seasonal favourite of mine as well. There are also a few other trends I noticed on the runways though that I think we are going to be seeing a lot of in the upcoming months.
Hair Accessories: I am SO on board with this trend. I am loving all of the cute barrettes, silk scarves, scrunchies and headbands that I am seeing everywhere!
2. Crochet: I cannot believe how much cute crochet there is available right now. From delicate details on a dress to entire bathing suits! Fun and festival inspired, I think we will be seeing a lot of it this Spring.
3. Neons: I grew up in the 90s so this is a style I can totally get on board with… LOL! These super vibrant shades were one of the biggest things I noticed during the Spring Fashion Week shows. 2019 is definitely going to be colourful!
4. Spring Suiting: This trend I absolutely adore! I have been seeing so many cute sorbet inspired boss babe suits popping up! It looks super chic and I will definitely be sporting this look to my office. Love love love!
5. Tie Dye: If I’m being honest, this was probably the hardest trend for me to get behind, but it is definitely persistent! You are never going to see me in an obnoxious multicoloured hooded sweatshirt, but I am starting to like some of the more subtle pieces I have seen out there.
I am loving all of the colours and trends of Fall 2018. I previously blogged about my love of leopard and all things colour blocked. Today I have rounded up a bunch of my favourite Fall clothing and accessories all in the under $50 range!
One of my favourite trends right now (besides leopard!) is colour block everything. Colour blocking is essentially when you pair two or more contrasting, yet complementary colours together. This trend has been around for a while, but this year it seems to be in abundance everywhere and available in all sorts of clothing and accessories.
There are so many adorable sweaters, dresses, accessories and skirts. I am trying not to go overboard! I actually recently returned a super cute colour block cardigan that I recently purchased because when I unpacked my winter clothes I realized that I had bought an almost dental one at the end of last season… Ooops 😉 LOL! I have rounded up a ton of more affordable and adorable colour block pieces if it is a style you are loving as well.
Good morning everyone! Today I have a HUGE roundup of some of my more popular Fall outfits 🙂 I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We took advantage of the gorgeous weather we are getting right now and spent most of our time outside! It has been amazing. I am seriously loving all of this glorious sunshine before the inevitable rain we will be getting any day now. Happy shopping and have a wonderful week!
As you may or may not have noticed, leopard is EVERYWHERE this Fall! It makes me giggle when I hear say someone say that they are so excited that animal print is back in style this year. I guess I never got the memo that it wasn’t always “in”… LOL! I have always loved leopard and consider it to be one of my neutrals! I recently picked up a gorgeous leopard cardigan and am almost embarrassed of how often I have been wearing it!
Last week I started my segment on Pantone’s Fashion Colour Trend Report predictions for Fall 2018. I have discussed four colours so far: Red Pear and Valiant Poppy and Nebulas Blue and Ceylon Yellow. Today I will be sharing fashion finds for the next two predicted shades: Martini Olive and Russet Orange. These are probably my least two favourite of the colours only because they are the least flattering on my own personal skin tone… so selfish I know! LOL. They would of course be gorgeous on anyone with a darker complexion than my own.
