I love a good statement accessory as much as the next person! Something that I can wear in my day-to-day life that is practical, yet still eye-catching and attractive. This is why I was so excited when Jord watches (pronounced Yode) reached out to me to see if I would be interested in styling on of their gorgeous wooden watches.
Jord was kind enough to gift me a watch of my choosing. After much deliberation, I decided on a watch from the Frankie series Purpleheart & Plum. The Purpleheart wood has a naturally rich purple colour with a fine grain pattern. It is really soft on my wrist and so easy to wear. This watch is absolutely stunning and easily my favourite accessory right now. The craftsmanship and quality are very impressive and I love that their watches are a combination of natural, and mostly re-claimed materials. It is honestly unlike any timepiece I have seen before, so unique!
Most of Jord’s watches have additional options for customization. You can mix and match the faces and woods, and the backplates and Cedar humidor presentation boxes can be engraved as well! Every watch comes with a one year warranty and free worldwide shipping. The company was an absolute pleasure to partner with. Part of the reason I started my blog in the first place was because I wanted to be able to easily share clothing, accessories, places and experiences that I enjoy. I can honestly say that I love my new wooden watch and would definitely recommend Jord to anyone that is looking for a high quality wooden watch! There are so many beautiful watches on the website to choose from, it was definitely a tough choice.
Lucky for you I have teamed up with Jord to giveaway $100.00 towards the purchase of any one of their stunning watches! Everyone who enters will receive a small discount code just for trying! You can enter this giveaway by following the link below:
Spring is in the air 🙂 Our temperature here in Vancouver has drastically improved this past week and I am SO excited for this season! I always love big and bold florals for Spring but there are a few other trends I am excited to try this year. I feel like animal print is still going to be everywhere, which I obviously LOVE and lace is always a seasonal favourite of mine as well. There are also a few other trends I noticed on the runways though that I think we are going to be seeing a lot of in the upcoming months.
Hair Accessories: I am SO on board with this trend. I am loving all of the cute barrettes, silk scarves, scrunchies and headbands that I am seeing everywhere!
2. Crochet: I cannot believe how much cute crochet there is available right now. From delicate details on a dress to entire bathing suits! Fun and festival inspired, I think we will be seeing a lot of it this Spring.
3. Neons: I grew up in the 90s so this is a style I can totally get on board with… LOL! These super vibrant shades were one of the biggest things I noticed during the Spring Fashion Week shows. 2019 is definitely going to be colourful!
4. Spring Suiting: This trend I absolutely adore! I have been seeing so many cute sorbet inspired boss babe suits popping up! It looks super chic and I will definitely be sporting this look to my office. Love love love!
5. Tie Dye: If I’m being honest, this was probably the hardest trend for me to get behind, but it is definitely persistent! You are never going to see me in an obnoxious multicoloured hooded sweatshirt, but I am starting to like some of the more subtle pieces I have seen out there.
One of my favourite Kate Spade quotes is “You can’t have a bad day in polka dots!” I have made it one of my fashion mantras.. LOL! I am a sucker for anything with a cute polka dot print. I feel like my closet might be getting a little full of black and white polka spots though… which is why I was so excited when I found this pretty blue and back polka dot skirt!
I feel like it is going to be one of those great Spring transitional pieces! It was actually snowing when we shot these photos so I wore it with my cozy turtleneck, but it will also be adorable with sandals and Spring tops as well! I adore its retro vibe 🙂
I feel like this has been the longest winter EVER! So naturally I started dreaming about tropical vacations and warmer weather. Which then lead me to looking at Spring clothing. I thought it would be fun to share some of my favourite finds, all of them under $50! There are so many cute items starting to appear in stores… bring on all the floral print!! 🙂
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend 🙂 This was such fun post for me to write. If you are someone who loves designer items but not the price tag that comes along with them, then this will be a must read! I have rounded up my Top 10 favourite Amazon dupes! Some of them are so good that it’s tricky to spot the difference between the original inspirational item and the Amazon dupe.
Happy Monday everyone! I wanted to do a recap of my Instagram outfits over the last couple weeks. You can simply click on the picture below and it will give you a direct link to the item. If something has sold out I have tried to link a comparable article. I hope you all have a wonderful week 🙂
I love New Years Eve! Quite honestly, I love any occasion to get dressed up 🙂 I mean, I suppose I could wear sequins to the office on a Wednesday morning, but I might get some funny looks! That is why choosing outfits for NYE is always so much fun. Whatever your plans may be… a quiet evening in at home, dinner at a swanky restaurant, or my personal favourite way to spend it is a gathering at a friend’s house for an evening full of laughter and champagne! I have rounded up a bunch of affordable and fun outfit ideas. I am like a magnet to sparkle… LOL!
I am loving all of the colours and trends of Fall 2018. I previously blogged about my love of leopard and all things colour blocked. Today I have rounded up a bunch of my favourite Fall clothing and accessories all in the under $50 range!
One of my favourite trends right now (besides leopard!) is colour block everything. Colour blocking is essentially when you pair two or more contrasting, yet complementary colours together. This trend has been around for a while, but this year it seems to be in abundance everywhere and available in all sorts of clothing and accessories.
There are so many adorable sweaters, dresses, accessories and skirts. I am trying not to go overboard! I actually recently returned a super cute colour block cardigan that I recently purchased because when I unpacked my winter clothes I realized that I had bought an almost dental one at the end of last season… Ooops 😉 LOL! I have rounded up a ton of more affordable and adorable colour block pieces if it is a style you are loving as well.
