Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Top 10

Good morning everyone! I originally wasn’t going to do a post on this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (N Sale) but after a poll on Instagram, you guys still wanted one! I am going to keep it brief though, because I feel like it can get a bit much with how bloggers emphasize this sale. Don’t get me wrong, it is a fantastic sale but even I find it overwhelming at times… and I am self admittedly obsessed with fashion! So I have narrowed it down to the Top 10 Items on my wish list.

This is also the easiest way to shop the sale. You can create your wish list in your online account and then add to cart when the sale becomes available to shop. I usually do shop in store at some point during the N Sale, but I have heard a lot of stores are struggling with stocking inventory. So this year I will be shopping from the comfort of my own home! Also remember, if something that you love is sold out, keep checking back as Nordstrom does restock some items.

This sale is usually when I grab a few staples for Fall. A great pair of jeans, a couple cute booties, cozy cardigans and fun coats. I actually found way more that I loved this year then I was expecting and it was hard to narrow the list down to 10, but I managed 😉

The 2019 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale- My Top Picks!

You guys! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is SO GOOD this year!!! It is actually a bit overwhelming so I have selected a few of my favourite, more affordable items. But if you have been dreaming about a pair of Tory Burch riding boots (one of my absolute Fall staples) now is the time to snag them! This is the cheapest you will ever find Spanx Faux Leather leggings, another wardrobe must have of mine!

The 2019 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!

Can you even call yourself a blogger if you are not completely obsessed with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (also know as the #NSale)?!  I am sure you have already heard that the time is almost here & I am so excited about this sale. I can’t wait to share my picks 🙂  Early access shopping begins this Friday, July 12 until July 18 for Nordstrom card holders. It is not to late to apply… Having the card is really the key to gaining access to this amazing sale! The sale will then open to the public on Friday July 19 and runs until August 4.  Prices then go back to full price on August 5.

Why is the sale so amazing?

Unlike most sales which mark down older merchandise that isn’t selling, it is NEW Fall items that are majorly discounted during this sale and then return to regular price at the end of the sale on August 5. So essentially, a PRE season sale!  The brands featured are some of my favourites, such as Tory Burch, Rebecca Minkoff, Kendra Scott etc. not just the smaller, unknown ones!

My advice:

Take inventory and figure out what the holes in your upcoming Fall wardrobe are. A new pair of high waisted skinny jeans? A cute suede bootie that will be an absolute staple? Cozy cardigans and sweaters for when the temperature chills? Have you been eyeing up a new set of luggage? Now is the time to snag it!  Make a list ahead of time. Otherwise the deals can be overwhelming!

If there is something you  love, make sure you keeping checking back…. Nordstrom will often for restock or add additional inventory 🙂  Don’t get discouraged if it says the item is sold out.  It’s not over until it’s over… The sale runs until August 5th.  The most popular items will sell out quickly, so you have to have a strategy!

Checkout! If  you have managed to score an item that you want, complete your purchase!  Nordstrom has super easy & hassle free returns if you change your mind later.  Last year I played it too slow and went back to look for more… by the time I went back to actually checkout a few of my favorites had sold out!

I apologize in advance if you are not someone who cares about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I’m sure your social media has completely been invaded over the past little while and you are quite sick of hearing bloggers gush about it.  If this is the case, please skip reading this post… because I am so excited about this sale and couldn’t wait to share my picks!!!  Early access shopping began this week and because I am a Nordstrom card holder, myself and other cardholders got easy access to the sale.  The sale will be open to the public July 20- August 5.

Why is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (NSALE) so amazing?

Unlike most sales which mark down older merchandise, it is NEW Fall items that are discounted during this sale and then the items return to regular price at the end of the sale in August.  The deals are incredible and the brands that are featured are some of my favourites, not just the less popular ones.  I usually treat myself to one item I have been obsessing about and then stock up on my Fall & Winter essentials: cute jeans, ankle boots, long cardigans, fun sweaters and dresses.

These were my picks from the Anniversary Sale last year and this was honestly one of the most fun posts for me to write:

Popular items sell out ridiculously fast! I missed out on a lot last year so I quickly got myself a Nordstrom credit card to make sure I had early access this year!  The application process was simple, the card has no annual fee and tons of other benefits. There is still time to apply and get early access to the sale!

Important Dates to remember for this sale:

July 11, Level 4 card members get to pre-shop the sale in stores only.

July 17-19, all cardholders get to shop Early Access in Nordstrom Canada stores.

July 20-August 5, our biggest sale of the year opens to the public.

July 12-19, all card members get to shop Early Access in stores and online.

July 20-August 5, biggest sale of the year opens to the public.

Prices go back up August 6.

When the Nordstrom Anniversary early access sale began last week I did a roundup of my favourite finds for women.  Tomorrow the sale opens to the public, so I felt it was only fair to share some of the amazing finds for men!  I haven’t included any of the suits on my list, only because there are too many to choose from.  That being said, if you are a man in need of an awesome new suit, this is the time to pick one up… the deals are smoking!  As with the women’s sale, it was so hard to narrow it down, so here are a few of my favourite finds for men:

Today is a very exciting day in the world of online shopping… the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (early access) starts today until July 20.  To gain early access you have to be a Nordstrom card holder.  This AH-MAZING sale opens to the public from July 21- August 6.  The deals are incredible.  It is the perfect time to shop for your upcoming fall wardrobe.  (Disclaimer: In no way am I trying to wish summer away.. just planning for the inevitable cooler temperatures!)  If you’re not familiar with the anniversary sale, it is NEW fall merchandise that is discounted during this sale & then the items return to the regular prices at the end of the sale in August.  The deals are incredible and the brands that are featured are some of my favourites, not just the less popular ones.  I usually treat myself to one item I have been lusting after (last year I picked up these gorgeous Tory Burch riding boots) & then stock up on my Fall & Winter essentials: jeans, ankle boots, comfy Tees & long cardigans.  I have rounded up a bunch of my favourite pics below.  There is SO much more, but I had to stop because I could only fit so many on the page…. :))
