I apologize in advance if you are not someone who cares about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I’m sure your social media has completely been invaded over the past little while and you are quite sick of hearing bloggers gush about it. If this is the case, please skip reading this post… because I am so excited about this sale and couldn’t wait to share my picks!!! Early access shopping began this week and because I am a Nordstrom card holder, myself and other cardholders got easy access to the sale. The sale will be open to the public July 20- August 5.
What is the sale so amazing?
Unlike most sales which mark down older merchandise, it is NEW Fall items that are discounted during this sale and then return to regular price at the end of the sale on August 5. The brands featured are some of my favourites, such as B.P, Free People, Top Shop, Sam Edelman, Tory Burch etc. Not just the no name, unheard of ones.
My advice:
Have a strategy. Figure out what the holes in your upcoming Fall wardrobe are. A new pair of perfect jeans? A cute bootie that will be an absolute staple? Cozy cardigans and sweaters for when the temperature chills? Make a list ahead of time. Otherwise the deals can be overwhelming!
If there is something you love, make sure you keeping checking back…. Nordstrom will often for restock or add additional inventory 🙂 Don’t get discouraged if it says the item is sold out. It’s not over until it’s over… The sale runs until August 5th.
Checkout! If you have managed to score an item that you want, complete your purchase! Nordstrom has super easy & hassle free returns if you change your mind later. Last year I played it too slow and went back to look for more… by the time I went back to actually checkout a few of my favourites had sold out!
